This traditional Christmas classic is updated with a hint of contemporary harmony, but still maintains it’s historic elegance and mood. Arranged for New York Voices, this version works equally well with a large ensemble. The song is sung twice – first in German and then in English. This arrangement is quite easy (by NYV standards) and quite brief, but is still challenging enough to give your choir a nice workout.
Note: In the first printing of this arrangement, the first note in the Alto part is incorrect. It should be a C# (not an A).
