With the departure of Sara Krieger from the band, Lauren Kinhan made her NYV debut on this CD. Released in 1993, their 3rd GRP CD continues to demonstrate NYV’s style versatility and hip approach to close harmony singing. Highlights include the Miles Davis classic “All Blues,” the James Taylor urban lament “Traffic Jam,” and the effervescent tribute to Ella Fitzgerald, “Oh, Lady Be Good.”
