HEARTS OF FIRE
Released in 1991, NYV’s second GRP release continues where their first CD left off. The repertoire is a mixture of originals, jazz standards, and favorite pop tunes for the 1970s. From straight ahead tunes such as “Stolen Moments” and “Giant Steps,” to pop classics such as “That’s the Way of the World” and “Too High,” this CD includes some of NYV’s memorable early tunes.
