Brazilian Dreams (2001)

Recordings > Brazilian Dreams

Paquito D’Rivera and NYV had shared the stage upon occasion back in the ‘90’s, and shared a mutual respect for each other’s artistry. In 2001, they were invited to perform together at the Manchester Craftsmen’s Guild in Pittsburgh, and thus the “Brazilian Dreams” project was born. Their mutual love of Brazilian music, and A. C. Jobim in particular led to this lush mix of bossas and sambas. NYV has had the pleasure of touring with Paquito over the years, which has been a career highlight.
